Lite n' Easy Week 7 Weightloss Journey - Week Seven Weigh In

weekly weigh in
Week 7: So Long 9.3 kilos!

Week Seven
Last week it was bothering me losing under a kilo each week but this week I have a completely different outlook.  I would rather lose weight slowly than not lose at all.  I've been thinking big picture this week.

Weightloss Week 7
Weight lost this week: 0.6kg (1.32 pounds)
Starting Weight: 148.8kg (328 pounds)
End of Week 5 weight: 139.5kg (307.54 pounds)
Total weightloss: 9.3kg (20.50 pounds)

More Figures

I know that the figures don't change much at the moment but I know that after a while these figures will change and it will be exciting to see.

A healthy Body Fat percentage is 22 - 32%.

Visceral Fat = 20
Excess Level Visceral Fat is 13 – 59

Water Range = 31.6%
Healthy Water Range is 45 - 60% but I do weigh myself in the morning when I have just woken up.

Physique Rating = 3
Physique Ratings: 1 = Hidden Obese, 2 = Obese, 3 = Solidly Built, 4 = Under Exercised, 5 = Standard, 6 = Standard Muscular, 7 = Thin, 8 = Thin and Muscular, 9 = Very Muscular.

Muscle Mass = 56.2kg
Bone Mass = 3.0kg
They did not have much to say on Muscle Mass or Bone Mass, I know that I'm normal for the bone mass for my weight range.

Thoughts on Lite n' Easy
I'm really enjoying it.  I was previously sick of all the fruit but now I'm like gimme more fruit!
What a difference a week makes!
I was so happy that I've been able to cut out the two sugars out of my coffee at the end of this week.

Goals for next week
I'm going to start strength training two times a week and exercise more next week.  I've realised that I need to eat back the calories I've burned during exercise so I'm going to buy (myself not Lite n' Easy) some additional fruit/snacks.  Looking forward to gradually working myself up and in! ;)

How are you doing?  I'd love to hear from you!
If you have any suggestions or tips for me I'd love to hear them too.

Lite n' Easy Breakfa...OMG Peanut Butter
Breakfast: Multigrain Muffin with Peanut ButterI love Peanut Butter but I can't have it in the cupboard because I end up throwing away the toast and picking up a spoon...or a Twix.  So this is the only way I can have it, in an 11g portion controlled packet and I love every 11 grams of it. :)

Lite n' Easy Double Chocolate Cake <3

Afternoon Snack: Double Chocolate Cake

Chocolate Cake on a weight loss plan? Uh YES PLEASE!  I warm mine in the microwave so the chocolate is all oozy and gooey... omg I want one now!

Lite n' Easy Dinner: Tortilla Stack

Tortilla Stack, in my opinion, is one of the best Lite n' Easy meals.  I was fanging for dinner and when ever I'm really hungry I have this one as it's also the most filling.  I order this one on the regular for those nights I'm really hungry so I don't go and eat something I'll regret.

Glasses of water: 7

Additional Items:  Homemade Coffee (low fat milk, no sugar)

Exercise: None

Day 6 - Monday

Lite n' Easy Breakfast
Breakfast: Melted Cheese, Smokehouse Ham and Tomato on a toasted Multigrain Muffin
Such a yummy breakfast, obviously you could make this at home without Lite n' Easy but I like the convenience and that I don't have to think about calories, how many carbs, veggies, fat and fruit I'm having.

Morning Snack
Morning Snack: Red Apple and an Orange

I forgot to have my Orange yesterday so I had it with today's morning snack, so good!  Could it be that I'm starting to like fruit? Who am I? LOL

Lite n' Easy Lunch: Baked Potato Bolognaise
Lunch: Baked Potato Bolognaise and a Red Apple

Love this lunch, it's so yummy! Potato, bolognaise, bechamel sauce and cheese combined together = awesomeness.

Lite n' Easy Snack: Choc Cranberry Trail Mix
Afternoon Snack: Choc Cranberry Trail Mix

Can you tell I was feeling a little creative and perhaps OCD today?  I welcome any chocolate in calorie controlled meals, even if it's a tiny amount.

Lite n' Easy Dinner: Crumbed Fish
Dinner: 02 Crumbed fish

This is the only seafood dish I would consider ordering as I don't eat any other seafood.  This dinner was one of my favourites a long time ago, I'm talking six months or so.  They've changed it, the fish they used previously was so much nicer.  The "Crumbed Fish" as it's known now smells, for lack of a better word, fishy when it's cooking and I just don't find it pleasant tasting.

I find when I'm eating it I'm just wishing for the way it was.  It also concerns me that the ingredients just say "fish", yeah thanks, what kind of fish is it?  I won't order this one again unless they improve it.  Obviously this new fish is cheaper.

Glasses of water: 8

Additional Items: Homemade Coffee (low fat milk, no sugar)

Exercise: "Melercise" Dancing for 30 minutes, moderate to high intensity with soup can weights for about 10 minutes.

Weight Loss Week Seven Day Five Lite and Easy (Lite n' Easy)

Day 5 - Sunday

Lite n' Easy Breakfast
Breakfast: Fruit & Bran Cereal Multigrain Toast with Plum Jam

The cereals are all good on Lite n' Easy and the Plum is my favourite of all the jams.

Morning Snack: Orange

:( I forgot to eat my morning snack.  I know, I know I should ...

eat all the things
Thanks google image search
Sometimes I forget to eat my snacks as I'm just not hungry.  I know some people may hate me for saying this but sometimes I find it hard to eat all the food on the 1200 calorie, everyone is different I guess.  I think I go to extremes where some months I'm not hungry at all and then I'm starving, so I'm enjoying the not being to hungry at the moment.

Lite n' Easy Lunch - Beef Burger
Lunch: Beef Burger with Sliced Beetroot, Tomato, Baby Spinach and Tomato Sauce on a Round Roll and Seasonal Fruit (Apple)

Love these little mini burgers, so yummy!  As you can see by the photo, I still try to get all the tomato on there, challenge accepted!

Lite n' Easy Snack: Popcorn
Afternoon Snack: Popcorn

Salty popcorn, oh yeah!  I nuke this for about a minute and chow down on warm popcorn mmmmm.

Lite n' Easy Dinner:  Beef Stroganoff

I've had this dinner before and really enjoyed it.  The sauce is really yummy, pasta is good, the meat is pretty good and then there is mushroom and capsicum.

The only issue with this particular dinner was that I munched on something truly unpleasant, I'm pretty sure it was a bay leaf, wasn't happy.  This is the first time this has happened to me in all the Lite n' Easy meals so I'm sure it was a once off.

Glasses of water: 6

Additional Items: Homemade Coffee (low fat milk, no sugar)

Exercise: None

Don't judge me... :P

Lite n' Easy Breakfast
Breakfast: Berry Wheat Bites Wholegrain & Oat Toast with Apricot Jam

weightloss out and about
Preparation is key

I knew I was going to be out for the day and couldn't take my lunch but I thought I'd be orgamanised for a change and take my water bottle and afternoon snack.  While I didn't end up having my afternoon snack (you will soon see why) the water bottle came in really handy.

Morning Snack: Orange

eating out on a diet
Healthier Options at a Restaurant

Lunch: At a Restaurant - Bagel with Eggplant and Sundried Tomato

While I don't know how many calories were in this (calorie counting seriously does my head in) I'm sure it wasn't too bad in the grand scheme of things, there were much worse things to be had.

Cacao Fudge Balls
Coffee, Fudge Heart and a personalised tea cup ;)

Afternoon Snack: Popcorn Swiss Moments Coffee and a homemade Cacao Fudge Ball (Heart)

My friend is doing the Michelle Bridges twelve week challenge so it kind of worked out well for me food wise.  How could I eat my popcorn when my friend had made these low fat fudge balls and he even served it in a personalised cup for me, bless him. ;)

Recipe for the Michelle Bridges Cacao Fudge Balls is here.

Michelle Bridges Moussaka
Michelle Bridges Moussaka

Dinner: Homemade Moussaka (433cal)

This was from the Michelle Bridges "No Excuses" cookbook, recipe here.

As previously stated my friend was doing the twelve week challenge, it's so nice to visit friends and not have to worry about what they will make you for dinner.  I didn't have to worry about the fat, sugar, salt content or even portion size.  It was pretty good, the eggplant was so yummy.

Glasses of water: 8

Additional Items:  Homemade Coffee (low fat milk & 1 tsp sugar)
Mug of Coffee (2 shots of coffee, no sugar)
2 Glasses of Coke Zero

OMG! Didn't realise until the end of the day just how much caffeine I had... probably enough to kill a small pony.  :S  Ooops!

Weight Loss Week Seven Day Three Lite and Easy (Lite n' Easy)

 Day 3 - Friday
28/02/2014
lite and easy
Lite n' Easy Morning to Afternoon

Breakfast: Nut Cluster Crunch Wholegrain & Oat Toast with Honey

One of my favourite cereals and I'm getting use to eating this amount for breakfast.

Morning Snack: Dried Apricots

Lunch: Smokehouse Ham, Cheese and Tomato on a Round Roll
Orange

I'm really enjoying the taste of the Lite n' Easy rolls.  I once thought they were too small, not any more.

Afternoon Snack: Vanilla Yoghurt

I hope they haven't replaced all the fruit yoghurt with Vanilla, I seem to get Vanilla yoghurt a lot.  It's nice but it's also nice to mix things up a bit.

Lite n' Easy Dinner: Shepherd's Pie

So I did have a bit of a plating fail with this one but I'm not perfect.  This is good and I do like it but I think the gravy could have a bit more flavour.  I would order it again.

Glasses of water: 7

Additional Items:  Homemade Coffee (low fat milk & 1 tsp sugar)

Exercise: None

Weight Loss Week Seven Day Two Lite and Easy (Lite n' Easy)

Day 2 - Thursday
27/02/2014

lite and easy
Lite n' Easy Morning to Afternoon
Breakfast: Bacon, Egg & Mayo Bagel

Last time I made this I burnt it and was so disappointed, but not this time.  I really enjoyed this and it did't feel like I was calorie controlled food.  The only thing was that the egg made a huge bang and exploded in the microwave.

Morning Snack: Seasonal Fruit (Grapes)

Lunch: Thai Chicken Cakes with Crispy Salad and Chilli Plum Dressing
Red Apple

This is okay but it's just not really for me.  I had to force this down towards the end.  It wasn't bad, it just wasn't very tasty.

Afternoon Snack: Muesli Cookies

lite and easy
Lite n' Easy Dinner: Savoury Beef Rissoles

I really enjoyed this one, the meat/gravy tastes pretty much the same as the 182 Meatloaf, Mash & Gravy, so if you like that you will like this.  The only let down is the texture of the meat, it's a bit spongy but I would still order this again.

Glasses of water: 7

Additional Items:  Homemade Coffee (low fat milk & 1 tsps sugar)

I'm trying to cut down on how many sugars I have in my coffee.

Exercise: None

Feeling really drained still.  Not sure if it's my condition or if I'm not having enough calories.
