Thoughts on the last five weeks
Hello! Hello! It's been a while! A lot has changed in the last five weeks. I'm still not well and I have been in and out of hospital and had several trips to the emergency department. I still have all the previous symptoms but I have also had numbness and tingling down the left side of my body. Sometimes it is so bad that I have problems walking and talking, at times, as my leg and tongue have been numb. It's been pretty scary. But I'm still here! ;)
I haven't really been able to exercise as I still have shortness of breath, however, that has been getting better. I'll be talking with my GP and specialists about possibly slowly incorporating exercise again. My weightloss has been impacted by the lack of exercise, however, it's still going in the right direction. I am concerned about muscle loss so I really want to get active again.
I am really excited and proud of myself for losing 30 kgs! Even with everything going on I have been able to maintain healthy eating. I have just completed a month of a Gluten free diet, this was not as difficult as I thought it would be. I'm currently on a dairy free diet. My Neurosurgeon has also suggested a Paleo diet which I will be commencing soon. I do plan to blog this once I start and share my diet and experiences.

Goals for next week
I'll be continuing my diary free diet next week. I do have a lot of appointments and tests at the moment but I will be blogging my diet again soon. My goal is to slowly start some daily walking but it will be very gradual. We have to walk before we can dance! ;) Baby steps are better than no steps.
