I don’t know what happened here.... there is no way that I would order this breakfast over the Multigrain Muffin with Peanut Butter....hmmmm.  I hate Vegemite!  I know I’m going to cop some slack about being un-Australian for hating Vegemite but come on it tastes like $%!T! Especially when compared to Peanut Butter...seriously! ;)

I guess I am un-Australian because I replaced it with this American Peanut Butter & Co Dark Chocolate Dreams Peanut Butter, you can’t tell me Vegemite is better than this! Ha ha I feel like I’m going to start a war here! ;)

Morning Snack: Orange

This Orange wasn’t too bad today, it wasn’t too pale and wasn’t tasteless but they still aren’t as good as they used to be.

Meet My Meat Soup


It was time to have one of these as I’m not sure how long this one has been in the freezer, two weeks maybe and if I didn’t have it now I never would.  I still have another one waiting for me L  It’s pretty much the same as the 167 Beef with Mushroom & Red Wine, I think if I ate these two blindfolded I wouldn’t be able to tell them apart.  They are both fairly bland.  Thank god for the mashed Potato to break it up, otherwise it would just be meat soup *shudders*.  Now I know why I was avoiding it!

Cheese, Ham and Tomato on a Muffin? I thought it would have just been grilled Cheese and Tomato today so I was happy to see the Ham.  If only there was an Egg it would have been complete ;)

Morning Snack: Red Apple

I didn’t have my morning snack as I was too nauseous, I think it may have been from all the pain in my jaw.

I really enjoyed this today, lots of veggies and the Chicken wasn’t bad either ;)

I think they may have sorted the Oranges or there may have just been a few bad ones as this one was really juicy!  The juice went everywhere, all over my face and down the front of me ha ha! You needed that visual, didn’t you ;)  It wasn’t lacking flavour either.

Afternoon Snack: Almonds, Pretzels & Peanuts

I love this snack, Peanuts and Pretzels is a great combination.  I actually used to make this combination at home myself, but had to stop as I was eating way too much of it ha ha.  I can only eat it in controlled servings ;)

I’m getting to the last of the dinners because my delivery day is tomorrow. Although I like all the meals I order, I have my favourites and I find near the end of the week I’m deciding through the ones that I don’t really like as much as I’ve had all my favourites earlier in the week.  Does everyone do this too?

I still enjoy the Sausages with Onion Gravy but it’s just not very exciting.  I have two 08 Hearty Beef Casserole sitting in the freezer, I have no idea how that happened, that I am avoiding every time ha ha.  I will have to have them sooner or later and the funny thing is that I can’t even remember what they taste like.

I felt a bit hungry later in the afternoon and it probably was due to missing the snack earlier in the morning.  I love this Maple Peanut Butter, oh who am I kidding, it’s Peanut Butter, I love them all! ;)

I got some antibiotics to sort out my jaw for now and the pain will hopefully reduce in a few days and I can get this sorted out so I can start being active again.  My life is terribly exciting, isn't it? ;)  But I know once I have this sorted out I can really get back into things and I can't wait.

I think that there is something going on here as I’m not finding the Yoghurt too sweet anymore.  I think it’s just that I’m use to the “new” Yoghurt recipe now, compared to the old one (the old one is still better though).

Lunch: Thai Green Chicken Curry and a Red Apple

I don’t remember being a huge fan of this last time but I really enjoyed this today.  It does have a very strong Lemongrass flavour, but I liked it.  The Chicken in this lunch is lovely and it isn’t the horrible thigh meat that I occasionally whinge about.  It’s lovely and refreshing.

Afternoon Snack: Choc Cranberry Trail Mix

Chocolate, Nuts and Cranberries equals fantastic, but the only problem is that it’s so small.  This is gone in a few seconds ha ha.

I don't think that I have had this one for a while and I forgot how good it was.  The Pasta remains tender and doesn't dry out and the sauce is a lovely rich, meaty and slightly cheesy.

I’m in a lot of pain lately so walking, dancing or any form or exercise isn't really happening for me at the moment, however, that doesn't mean I’m going to sit at home and feel sorry for myself.  I decided to get out and go to the beach today and while I didn't walk there, it was still lovely to get out.  I took in the beautiful scenery and had a coffee at one of the local coffee shops along the beach.

My whole attitude and outlook on things has changed a lot since I've decided to lose weight, when the doctors gave me the bad news about my health (read about it in my original post here) it hit me pretty hard.  I let it take over my whole life and it controlled everything I did and every decision I made.  But I have realised that it’s all about your attitude, life can be a bitch or a beach, the decision is up to you.

Weigh In Wednesday! - Lite n' Easy Week 19 Weightloss Journey - Week Nineteen Weigh In

Nothing lost, nothing gained
Week Nineteen

This is a new one, I didn’t gain or lose this week but stayed the same and I’m okay with that.  I have lost 19.4 kg and I am comfortable in my own skin again and that is far more important than what the scale displays.  It took me a long time to realise that. 

Sure, it would have been nice to make it to the round number of 20 kg this week, but I will get there and there is no rush.  Because it’s about more than the destination, it’s all about the journey and I’m having too much fun sharing it with you all ;)

Things have been all over the place and I’m just getting things sorted and getting back to routine.

Weightloss Week 19

Starting Weight: 148.8 kg (328 pounds)
Current weight: 129.4 kg (285 pounds)
Total weightloss: 19.4 kg (42.76 pounds)

Thoughts on this week

I’ve been in quite a bit of pain due to my jaw but I’m off to the doctors to get it sorted out, it has been causing a lot of issues and migraines.  I am slowly getting back some solid sleep so I will soon be back into a regular routine and then it will flow on to my food, exercise, weightloss etc etc.

Goals for next week

Slowly but surely get back into the swing of things, it’s a slow and steady process but I can’t wait to be back into a regular exercise routine!


I've decided not to include the extra figures on Muscle Mass, Body Fat Percentage etc, as since February they haven't really changed.  I still have my initial figures on this blog so I will compare them later on in my journey.  If there is a significant difference I will mention it in the weigh in post.

I love being out in the sun in the mornings, it seems like such a tiny thing but it’s really the little things that you miss and appreciate isn't it.

I prefer Mandarins as they are much easier to eat than Oranges and Apples and easier to take with you too.

Afternoon Snack: Rosemary & Rock Salt Crackers

I leant from my mistakes and had enough water today, so I didn’t find I was getting too hungry towards the end of the day.  I found that these were sufficient enough until dinner and I enjoyed them by themselves today, I usually complain that they need cheese or something else but I enjoyed the simpleness of them today.

I usually don’t order this as I really don’t enjoy the soggy Tomato on top.  This time I removed the Tomato and just had the Macaroni.  Some of the Tomato flavour did remain but I did enjoy it more than I usually do.  I like it as a change but there is just not enough variety in this for me to love it.

I used to think these were pretty boring but I’m really starting to enjoy these rolls.  I know the bread rolls are tiny but I really like the flavour of them.

This is a great little snack with a great combination of flavours.  I didn’t have much water today, so I did find that this snack just wasn’t enough for me today so I found myself having an additional snack later in the afternoon.

I’ve been really craving the Steaks for dinner lately, I don’t know what it is.  I think it’s just that I am craving larger, filling meals in the evenings, perhaps because of the colder weather.  I think I’ll be ordering more next week.  I have noticed that the Steak was smaller than usual though, I’m hoping it was just this piece and it’s not a permanent change.....hmmmmm.

Shingle Inn - Tuscany Toasted Sandwich on Wholemeal Bread
Lunch: Tuscany Toasted Sandwich – Roasted Vegetables

Lunch may have been a little on the later side and we were getting pretty hungry and desperate so after walking around and around, decided on the Shingle Inn.  On the menu this sounded delicious and it was okay, but would you want to pay $12.90 for this?  No, I don’t think it’s worth that at all.  Was not very happy with it but when you are hungry and desperate what can you do.  I shouldn't complain as I was shouted lunch, but still.

After getting home late I felt completely drained of energy and was in need of some good calories.  So I decided on this Berry Banana Shake as a quick, delicious way to replenish some fuel.

I was shopping pretty much all day and on my feet, I was actually going to wear my heart rate monitor for you guys just to see how many calories I actually burned, but I forgot! I wasn’t overly hungry tonight so I just wanted one of the lighter meals, like this one.  I love this one, it’s just simple and not too filling.  There is no meat and sometimes that can be a good thing as you don’t have to worry about the quality of the meat, you just know that it’s always going to taste the same.
